Steve O'Hearn is originally from the White Mountains in New Hampshire. He moved to Vermont in 1980. He is a partially self-taught and a partly schooled artist who started painting watercolor drybrush over 24 years ago. After taking a long break from art, he picked up his brushes once again around six years ago as he changed over to acrylics. Now he currently paints in oil on wood panels with various brushes. He currently does most of his painting in a studio at his home. He paints landscapes and historical sites around Vermont, such as covered bridges and old farms. He tries to paint affordable paintings that people who admire fine art can enjoy.
